CSS How to Make a Website Customizing Colors and Fonts Use Color in CSS

I do not get a green header and the color hexadecimal is maintains a highlight on the workspace.

I have double-checked for syntax and typo's, but no luck.

Can you post the code your using?

*Check the Markdown Cheatsheet below if you don't know how to post code.

a { text-decoration: none; }
#wrapper { max-width: 940px; margin: 0 auto; padding: 0 5%;
}

logo {

text-align: center; margin: 0;
}

a { color: #6ab47b; }

header { background: #6ab47b; border-color: #599a68; }

h1, h2 { color: #fff; }

nav { background: #599a68; }

nav a, nav a:visited { color: #fff; }

nav a.selected, nav a:hover { color: #32673F; }

body { background-color: #fff; color: #999; }

During the TreeHouse examples; Nick hovers his mouse (the thing that types, sorry) over the code colors; then the indicated code color appears on the screen. This functions as a css color preview. My workspace does not provide for the css color preview.

I have solved the green header issue. Yeah! I don't know how to post code...yet. And I don't know the syntax to designate a paragraph body.
