I do not know why my script does not work properly? can anyone please help.

I also tried it on the terminal it also does not produce the desired output (it does not delete the list!).

lists.py 
messy_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]

# Your code goes below here
messy_list.insert(0,messy_list.pop(3))

for i in messy_list :
    if not type(i) is int :
        messy_list.remove(i)

Hello, you dont need a for loop for this challange, only use .pop() / .insert(<index>, <value>) and del or .remove(). I can show you the solution, but try to do the challenge again without for loop.

Otherwise, if you want a for loop to remove the string, maybe this will help you.

def test():
  messy_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]
  for item in messy_list:
    if item != int:
      messy_list.remove(item)      
  print(messy_list)  
test()
