15,247 PointsYou placed document.write
in the wrong place. When they said to place it in the <script>
tag they meant in between the opening and closing script tag, not inside the tag itself.
<script>
document.write('Welcome to my site');
</script>
Adding something inside the tag itself should be reserved for attributes of that tag, like if you wanted to link to an external JavaScript file. Example:
<script src="external-file.js"></script>
I hope that helps.
