I do not understand what my error is.

It says : ''SyntaxError: app.js: Unexpected token : (3:63)''

completely wrong, you have to first get the basics right, before, you think about setting the colour

one you are mixing up CSS with javascript, and the second parameter, it will have to be the function, which will execute as a result of invoking the click event
