I don't get it

can some please break down the question I don't get it

The question is asking you to:

  • create a function named max
  • it has two parameters
  • return the larger of the two parameters, using a return statement.

Use a conditional statement (if/else) to define which parameter gets returned

Note the function definition you have will not work. Parameters cannot start with numbers.

We need to create a conditional statement to verify which number is greater and return it

function max (number1 , number2)
{
 if(number1 > number2)
 {
   return number1;
 }
  else{
    return number2;
  }
}
