10,376 PointsI dont get what this line does " $('#temperature').text(weatherReport.main.temp);"
In one of the API challenge, it asks us to insert the temperature. Can someone elaborate on the meaning of this line?
$(document).ready(function() {
var weatherAPI = 'http://api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/weather';
var data = {
q : "Portland,OR",
units : "metric"
};
function showWeather(weatherReport) {
}
$('#temperature').text(weatherReport.main.temp);
});
