Is it in if statement?
class Student:
name = "Your Name"
def praise(self):
return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)
def reassurance(self):
return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)
def feedback(self, grade)
self.grade = grade
if grade > 50:
return praise(self.name)
else:
return reassurance(self.name)

Firstly, you are missing a colon here:
def feedback(self, grade)
This line self.grade = grade
is unnecessary since you are not accessing grade
from other methods.
In here...
return praise(self.name)
else:
return reassurance(self.name)
...you need to return either the praise or reassurance method based on the argument's grade
value. In order to do that there are two things:
- remove
self.name
from the parentheses - since you need to access these methods you have to use
self.
here, for exampleself.praise()
After these changes all should be good for you to pass the challenge!
