I dont know why mines in a different order?
# E.g. word_count("I do not like it Sam I Am") gets back a dictionary like:
# {'i': 2, 'do': 1, 'it': 1, 'sam': 1, 'like': 1, 'not': 1, 'am': 1}
# Lowercase the string to make it easier.
def word_count(ite):
ite = ite.lower()
list_1 = ite.split(" ")
dicti = {}
for i in list_1:
if i not in dicti.keys():
dicti[i] = 1
else:
dicti[i] += 1
return dicti

16,529 PointsThe problem is not in order. Remove " " from split. To delete all whitespaces in the string you must use: list_1 = ite.split().
