5,422 PointsI don't know why these codes are not correct. please help.
I run same codes with the given example, I get the same result as the example. However, the challenge keeps telling me that it gets an unexpected result. please help.
# E.g. word_count("I do not like it Sam I Am") gets back a dictionary like:
# {'i': 2, 'do': 1, 'it': 1, 'sam': 1, 'like': 1, 'not': 1, 'am': 1}
# Lowercase the string to make it easier.
def word_count(string):
w = {}
words = string.split(' ')
for word in words:
w[word.lower()] = string.count(word)
return w
