I don't understand..

The instruction says that i must put a date function and print it the same as what the example shows.. My code is right and it's output is just the same format as what the example shows... But it says that my answer is still wrong?

Perhaps try:

echo $date; //Without the quotation marks

as you don't strictly have to encapsulate it in a string.
