Ruby Ruby Core and Standard Library Ruby Standard Library: Part 2 YAML

Require "yaml" treehouse = YAML.load(yaml_string)

yaml.rb
treehouse = YAML.load (yaml_string)

Hi Braeden,

You want to add the require line before the yaml_string is defined, then the YAML.load() line after the yaml_string. You can't use yaml_string before it is declared in the code. It all looks like:

require "yaml"
yaml_string = "---\n:name: Treehouse\n:location: Portland, OR\n"
treehouse = YAML.load(yaml_string)

I hope that helps.

Steve.
