Since your are linking to an external javascript file, we need to give the source of that file.

The src attribute in the opening <script> tag allows you to tell it where your .js file lives, like linking an external CSS stylesheet if you're familiar with that. You don't need to include any code in between the opening and closing <script> tags since it all lives in the shout.js file.
