I Dont understand this part please help i was stuck on the previous challenge also but, guessed my way into passing.

someone please explain

What this is showing you is how you can use a variable instead of writing: "cookie dough."

It doesn't make much sense here but say you have three people who all have different favorite ice cream. You will need to go away find that persons favorite ice cream then assign that value to the variable.

It's about making your more flexible. I hope that helps, if it doesn't keep going and it will.
