I don't understand this question. What is the default value and what is the "name"?

HI there,

You're pretty much there with your code. However, you've called getStringExtra, where you want to pull an integer through from the other activity. The "FUEL_LEVEL" string is a key to obtaining the integer. So, use getIntExtra instead. Pass in the key, as you have done, but also provide a default value, in case the retrieval fails, so you need to give a second parameter, which is an integer. Use -1, perhaps. Set mFuelLevel to the retrieved value.

This looks like:

    Intent intent = getIntent();
    mFuelLevel = intent.getIntExtra("FUEL_LEVEL", -1);
