I don't understand what I'm doing wrong

Select the input element with the id of "linkName" and store the value into the variable inputValue.

I assumed that you would use getElementbyId() but i don't know what I'm doing wrong

You don't use a # in getElementById, just the id name in quotes

When selecting element with getElementById method, you don't need to write hash or pound sign '#'

Here is the code:

var inputValue = document.getElementById('linkName').value;
document.getElementById('link').textContent = inputValue;
