I don't understand what is being asked of me in this question.

The question doesn't make any sense to me or what it's wanting me to do.

Your job is to replace "false" with a conditional expression.

This code has a loop that iterates the list items ("li" tags) on the page. But since the condition is always false, all of them are set to have "normal" font weight.

The challenge is for you to replace the false with an expression which will cause the list item which has been selected by the number in the text input to be made bold, but the others to be normal.

It doesn't make any sense to me in the comment where it says replace false on the line below.

Do I take out 'false' and put a test condition in there? Or am I supposed to put something on the line below?

The conditional should be if (index < 3) {}, right?

Yes you need an expression instead of false, but the proper expression will compare two variables and not have a number in it.
