I don't understand what is wrong with my code. When I write it on the Workspace, it displays properly.

The code I wrote is the following:

def mod(a,b) puts " The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{a/b}." end puts mod(9,3)

method.rb
def mod(a,b)
  puts "The remainder of #{a} divided by #{b} is #{a/b}."
end
puts mod(9,3)

Hi Steven,

You need to return the string instead of printing it and you're trying to get the remainder so you should use the % operator instead of /

I now understand where I messed up and I was able to complete it!

Thank you Jason!
