what am I spose to do? it doesn't make any sense to me and I try to go to the video for answers or examples but there is nothing that seems to help. any help would be amazing.

Courses Plus Student 15,000 PointsAt task 1 you must assign the userName to to upperCase version of the id: var userName = id.toUpperCase();
At task 2 just concatenate some string to make userName look the way they want: userName = userName + "#" + lastName.toUpperCase();
