The source attribute is src. You have scr. Also, your second img source has an extra m in the word numbers.

<ul>
  <li>
    <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
  </li>
  <li>
    <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
  </li>
  <li>
    <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
  </li>
</ul>

<ul> <li> <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt=""> </li> <li> <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt=""> </li> <li> <img src="img/nubers-06.jpg" alt=""> </li> </ul>

even now it shows a bummer what should i do??

Add an opening ul tag before the first li tag. And your third image is forgetting an m in numbers. Should be numbers-06.jpg

<ul> <!-- Don't forget this -->
   <li>
      <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
    </li>
    <li>
      <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
    </li>
    <li>
      <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
    </li>
  </ul>

thank u though it did not help me.

It's passing for me. Are you adding that list in between the < section> tags? The entire code should look something like this:

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html">
        <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
        <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
      <nav>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
          <li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
          <li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
        </ul>
      </nav>
    </header>
    <section>

    <!-- This is the beginning of the code you're adding -->
      <ul>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-02.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-06.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
      </ul>
    <!-- This is the end of the code you're adding -->

    </section>
    <footer>
      <p>&copy; 2013 Nick Pettit.</p>
    </footer>
  </body>
</html>

yup!! thank u very much got it.
