I don't understand where to add "social-links.

Can someone help me figure out what the anchor tag is? I'm not sure how to add an extra class and add "social-links" into that class

The place that you have put the "social-links" value is in the href attribute, this is where the user will be directed to when the link is clicked on. To add a class to the anchor tags you need to add a class attribute inside the anchor tags opening tag with the class name (social-links in this case) in quotes next to the class attribute, like this: 

<a href="#" class="social-links">Follow me on Twitter!</a>
<a href="#" class="social-links">Send me an Email!</a>

Think of the '#' as a placeholder for a link. It won't link anywhere but it tell the code that it's a link.
