I don't understand why it says the formats are incorrect

def stringcases(word): return (word.upper(), word.lower(), word.capitalize(), ("").join(list(word)[::-1]))

stringcases.py
def stringcases(word):
    return (word.upper(), word.lower(), word.capitalize(), ("").join(list(word)[::-1]))

use title instead of capitalize. capitalize only caps the first word, title does every word in a string. you don't need to use join or a list cast to reverse, you have the correct slice notation to reverse a string, just use that.
