I feel that my code is correct, however continue to get the bummer message stating that task 1 is no longer passing

Am I missing something here? I feel that my code is correct however continue to get the bummer message that task 1 is no longer passing and am unable to move forward.

Try removing the extra call to getYear(); You only need the last one where you are assigning it to the variable.
