11,835 PointsI get an error, but not sure what I'm doing wrong!
Hey guys,
It's quite an easy task I have to do, but I seem to make a mistake and I can't figure out what that is...
Thanks in advance!
Cheers, Ferre
contact_list = [
{"name" => "Jason", "phone_number" => "123"},
{"name" => "Nick", "phone_number" => "456"}
]
contact_list.each do |contact|
puts contact_list["name"]
puts contact_list["phone_number"]
end

22,856 PointsYou're passing in contact
to the block, but inside your block, you wrote contact_list
. You don't want to access the contact list here. Try changing your two instances of contact_list
to contact
.

11,835 PointsOh this is the task btw: Using the each method, iterate over the contact_list array. Assign each array item to the local variable contact in the block and print out the value of the name and phone_number keys.
