It looks like you need to modify your strings slightly but you're on the right lines.

Have a look at the example String Alena provides in the code challenge.

NAME made the Honor Roll". If not, use the variable to display "NAME has a GPA of GPA

Where does she want you to write GPA and where does she want you to echo the variable that holds the GPA value?

Thanks, i corrected it now

You need to place a GPA variable on another place

<?php

if ($studentOneGPA == 4.0) {
    echo "$studentOneName made the Honor Roll";
}  else {
    echo "$studentOneName has a GPA of $studentOneGPA";
}

if ($studentTwoGPA == 4.0) {
    echo "$studentTwoName made the Honor Roll";
} else {
    echo "$studentTwoName has a GPA of $studentTwoGPA";
}

thank you for response
