PHP PHP Basics PHP on the Web Date Function

I get the correct output, but answer is not accepted.

You should double check the documentation for the 'day' format. Note the example in the challenge itself:

Example: Today is July 04, 2016

'j' in the date() function corresponds to "Day of the month without leading zeros", so while you're seeing the correct output format for today's date (November 30, 2016), it wouldn't look correct for tomorrow's date (it would say December 1, 2016)
