I have added a h1 tag between the body tags but still get this message that I need a header element between body tags.

What am I missing here?

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Shane | Web Designer</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <h1>Shane</h1>
    <section>
      <p>Gallery will go here.</p>
    </section>
    <footer>
      <p>&copy; 2015 Shane Wagner.</p>
    </footer>
  </body>
</html>

Hi Shane, The challenge is looking for an actual header element, not h1. Just replace your h1 line with this

<header></header>             <!-- replaces <h1>Shane</h1> -->

Hope that helps! Keep Coding! :)
