iOS Swift Collections and Control Flow Control Flow With Loops Working With Loops

I have looked for help everywhere and I hope you can help. I am stuck. I have looked at the community board.

loops.swift 
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {
  print(numbers[counter])
  sum += numbers[counter]
  sum ++

}

First, the challenge didn't ask you to print anything.'

Second, you should increment counter by one, not sum.

Try this:

loops.swift 
let numbers = [2,8,1,16,4,3,9]
var sum = 0
var counter = 0

while counter < numbers.count {
  sum += numbers[counter]
  counter++
}

Hi there! While Alexander Davison is correct about the counter being incremented and about the printing, it's important to note that the method he uses with the ++ operator has been deprecated in Swift 3 and will cause a compiler error. Instead of the ++ This should be used:

  counter += 1
