I have no idea how to do this.

What are you trying to do?

Just return the word or add a word and remove letters?

Here is how I did it, hope it helps :D

def disemvowel(word):
    vowels = ["a", "e", "i", "o", "u"]
    list_of_letters = list(word)
    for letter in list_of_letters.copy():
        if letter.lower() in vowels:
            list_of_letters.remove(letter)
    word = "".join(list_of_letters)
    return word
