I have not been able to get the question on padding right - I put padding 15px but the answer returns an error

I don't know why an error is returned when I put padding 15px as requested - is there something that I can amend?

index.html
<!doctype html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>List Example</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="styles.css">
  </head>
  <body>

    <a class="social-links" href="#">Follow me on Twitter!</a>
    <a class="social-links" href="#">Send me an Email!</a>

  </body>
</html>
styles.css
.social-links{

  padding 15px.
  margin 10px.

}

Rather than adding a full stop at the end of each line, you should use a semi colon ; And you'll need a colon right after each attribute such that:

.social-links{
  padding: 15px;
  margin: 10px;
}

but even when i do that it says "Bummer: You need to set the padding for .social-links elements to 15px. i i have .social-links{ padding: 15px; margin: 10px; }.

nevermind a simple restart has sorted the problem out.
