4,514 PointsI Just need Advices Please...
Hello, I am 14 and interested having career in programming field. Here's the thing, I have been using teamtreehouse for over 6 months already and really haven't learn much. The reason is whenever I choose a course or track that I am interested in a moment; I just join and start learning until I get stuck on challenge or lose interest and I've been doing it for little over 6 months. I tell myself I need to be focused on one language and one course, but it just never works. Please, I need advice or tip on how I should be focused on this "one programming language" and make myself not quit and pass the trial of losing interest and quitting right away. It would really help.

49,872 Pointshi Donghyeok it happend to all of us i guess we all jumped from one to another track or started a course and without completed started another first off all for a 14 year i will suggest to you to star learning web first markup languages like HTML or CCS or python is very powerful and easy to understand if you have experience on python is more easier to understand other languages like java or php python educates you in way that you write code (i think) and i so powerful and not so hard to understand.
annnddd if you stuck in one challenge please do not google it i did it before but the courses are connected between themselves, and it is impossible not encountered that problem sometimes it takes time to understand the problem but read documentation read other web resources or go for a walk a short break sometimes is good but do not pass it if you don't understand someday when you take a project to work on your own you better know what are you doing because bugs will destroy your life hahahahah just a joke. hope it helps all the best Albert

Courses Plus Student 13,401 PointsHi Donghyeok,
I looked at what you have been studying and I think your main interests are in the area of HTML and JavaScript. Stick with those two and jump back and forth as you see fit. Also, feel free to repeat any lessons you do not think you have learned. I would recommend you take notes and review your notes frequently. I bet you have learned a lot more than you give yourself credit for. Best wishes in your future studies and congratulations for doing all you are at 14.
