CSS How to Make a Website Customizing Colors and Fonts Write Hexadecimal Colors

I keep getting an error message on styling the <p> elements to black but i can figure out what I'm doing wrong.

this is the code i have entered

p {

color: #000; }

help!

css/main.css
a {
  text-decoration: none;
}

#wrapper {
  max-width: 940px;
  margin: 0 auto;
}

#logo {
  text-align: center;
  margin: 0;
}

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
  {

    color: #000;

Hi,

You look to have an opening tag instead of a closing tag which is affecting the rest of your styles (in this case the paragraph ones). Try changing:

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
  {

to:

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
  }

You have an opening brace in the first rule where there should be a closing one.

h1, h2 {
  color: #fff;
  { /* This should be a closing curly brace facing the other way */
