I keep getting this error message"it looks like task two is no longer passing"

Hi

I am trying this code challenge every time I finish answering the last question and hit the check answer button I get an error message that says: "it looks like task two is no longer passing" and I have no idea what it means.

I'd like to move on to the next lesson but this error message is keeping me from doing so please help.

Hey Benite,

you just forgot to close your opening anchor tags but you put the closing bracket after the words Portfolio, About and Contact. If you fix this, it should work! :)

They are closed, but they are closed in the wrong spots. Currently, she has the inner html set as an attribute.

Hey Aaron,

I didn't see the closing brackets behind the words at first but I noticed it immediately after the page refreshed and fixed it, you must've seen the old version after you sent your answer. But thank you for the heads-up, four eyes are always better than two! :)

You placed all of your ">" after the text you wanted to link in the "a" tags. Try moving the words inbetween the tags.

eg: YOUR CODE

<a href="index.html"Portfolio></a>

The problem with your code is that it is setting the inner html for your anchor link as an attribute.

PROPOSED CODE

<a href="index.html">Portfolio</a>

Apply a similar set up for all of your links and I believe it will pass.
