Courses Plus Student 1,756 PointsI must be missing something here.
It says to create an empty array. Yet when I do I get a parse error. When I just create a variable it says "'your variable' does not contain an array."
It also uses the key word array "literal" could that be something? I am lost here and know it must be something so simple I am missing.
var coordinates[];

<script src="script.js"></script>

Treehouse TeacherHi there! The only thing you're missing is an equals sign. There should be an =
between the variable name and the []
. This creates a variable named coordinates
and assigns an empty array to it.
Hope this helps!
