414 PointsI'm not understanding how it is possible to split on a comma without calling the .split method in display_menu. I would of wrote the code as such: display_menu = sundaes.split(", ") menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(.join(display_menu))

2,371 PointsI will explain the code -
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
#now available has a string.
sundaes = available.(";")
# now sundaes will have a list of words separated with ";"
display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
then we are joining all the words sundaes has with .join() function.
now display will hold
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(display_menu)
