Hey. :) The nav tag should be placed outside your h1 and h2 tags. The nav tag should include your menu. The code is below:

<header>
      <a href="index.html">
     <h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
     <h2>Designer</h2>
      </a>
     <nav>
     Your custom menu goes here. 
     </nav>
    </header>
