a variable is an element, feature, or factor that is liable to vary or change.

let me give you some examples.

Favourite_colour = "Yellow"
print(Favourite_colour)

output: Yellow

another example

Favourite_colour = "Yellow"
print("My favourite colour is {}".format(Favourite_colour))

output: My favourite colour is Yellow
