I need help with del

I can not get it to work.

delete.py
current_count = 14
planned = 5
upcoming_releases = 2
del planned
total = "current_count" + "upcoming_releases"

You called the "del" function perfectly. That code is working fine. The issue you're having is a simple one: you're trying to use the two variables (count and upcoming_releases) but have them wrapped in quotations, effectively making them strings.

You're storing "current_countupcoming_releases" in the total variable, when instead you want to be storing the integer 16.

current_count = 14
planned = 5
upcoming_releases = 2
del planned
total = current_count + upcoming_releases
