this is my code and I didnt understand whats wrong with it..
SELECT * FROM Media JOIN Genres ON Media_Genres.genre_id = Genres.genre_id LEFT OUTER JOIN Media ON Media_Genres.media_id = Media.media_id WHERE Media_Genres.media_id=3;

9,359 PointsMake sure you build the query step by step:
- Start with the Media table
- Add the common table (Media_Genres) to be able to "connect" the right Genres to the Media item
- The Media_Genres table should be joined based on the Media_id
- Now the Media_Genres is connected, you can join the Genres table
- Genres.genre_id can be connected to the Media_Genres.genre_id
Ultimately you will end up with:
SELECT * FROM Media
JOIN Media_Genres ON Media_Genres.media_id = Media.media_id
JOIN Genres ON Genres.genre_id = Media_Genres.genre_id
WHERE Media.media_id = 3;
