I need help with writing CSS to select h1, please!!!!

to select an element use curly brackets {} so for h1, insert h1{} in your style tag as others have shown above, I remember it thinking of the opening and closing curly brackets looking like a capital E and S so Element Selector... :)

you can target the h1 tag by simply adding the h1.

<style>
  h1 {
    /*PROPERTIES HERE*/
}
</style>

To simply target the <h1> HTML element you can use the following code. I suggest you re-watch that video as it covers the CSS basics.
