iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Fundamentals of C Anatomy of a C program

I need more basic information.

I am really interested in learning about app design, but in these videos it was very hard for me to understand what he was saying. In the CSS and HTML courses the teachers went into Deep Dives to help the student better understand, and they explained every aspect in depth. Which realllyy helped me be able to understand it better, and I would love to learn about app design for iOS, but I feel I need a more in depth video or something.

I didn't have a problem with the Objective-C Basics if that's what you're taking now. They went really in depth in my opinion. If you didn't understand something I suggest re-watching the videos and taking notes down. Treat the videos if you were reading a textbook, if you didn't understand it, just simply go back to it.

I might try that, I'm still a beginner in all of this. So I figure it's because I'm so new at all of this, I don't quite grasp it as well. I'm going to go back in a couple of days and rewatch the videos and see if I understand it better.

If you have no background in programming in general, i suggest yo upstart with something easier like Ruby, Because you need to understand what programming language are about, hoe do they work. So you really need to concentrate on understanding the logic first rather than the syntax. which Objective-C is knows to have the most difficult syntaxes. i did the same and learned the basics of Ruby and it didn't take me more than 3 days. Now Objective-C makes more sense than before.

Is there something in particular you do not understand?

Some of the terms he was using and the certain syntaxes he used confused me really bad, but I think for now I'm going to work on the web design I've been learning and learn more code and then go back to it. I feel it will make more sense to me then.

Objective C is a hard language to get into. Good luck!

Thanks Patrick! :).
