I need some help

What's wrong with my code?

disemvowel.py 
def disemvowel(word):
    result = ' '
    vowels = ['a', 'e', 'i', 'o', 'u']
    for letter in word:
        if letter not in vowels:
            result += letter

    print(result) 
    return word

Here's a few hints:

  • you should initialize result with an empty string instead of a space
  • your function must remove both lower case and upper case vowels
  • you don't need to print anything
  • you probably meant to return result instead of the original word
