I passed task 1 and now it says its not passing

i just added else clause, please advise

You are missing a closing curly bracket for your if statement.

var answer = prompt('What is the best programming language?');
if ( answer.toUpperCase() === 'JAVASCRIPT' )  { 
  alert ("You are correct");
}// <-- this is the closing curly brace you are missing on your if condition 
  else {
    alert("Javascript is the best language!");
}
