14,340 PointsI am not sure where or what this video is but there are a lot of different languages that can do a lot of things. It all depends what you want to do. JavaScript, C#, Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, VB, and many others can be used to make web apps. If you want to make games C++ is what most AAA games are written in. Objective-C and Swift for iOS. Java for Android. It all comes down to what you want to do.
May you can post what language you are learning or what do you want to build? That way we can help you a little bit better since there are too many videos on the web.

14,340 PointsWell Python can be used to make Web Apps and even games. Civilization 4 is mostly written in Python. Java can be used to make Web Apps, Android apps, Java games and Desktop apps. I would just advice with what you learn pick one and build something! After you get good with that one language start learning another one and never stop learning.
Good luck @[Jonathan Sum(AKA GoogleSearch[Arma2oa])](user:6164812) !
