I still can't figure it out

i don't know what i'm doing wrong

dont forget your semicolon on your alerts, and equal comparition is done by == or === , and its else if, not if else,

var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = true;

if ( isAdmin ) {
    alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if ( isStudent )
    alert('Welcome student');
