I think I should repeat this course:)

Pretty lost on both of these tasks. The first was so obvious as soon as it was shown to me. This one seems more confusing.

app.js
var id = "23188xtr";
var lastName = "Smith";

var userName = id.toUpperCase ();
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

</head>
<body>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

Try to break down what they are asking you to do.

After the 1st task (I think I answered that on another thread)...you need to ADD (concatenate) a # and ADD the lastName in uppercase (using the .toUppercase method again). How do you ADD (concatenate) strings?

var userName = id.toUpperCase() + "#" +. ...you will be able to figure out the last bit!

Keeping practicing, it really does get easier!
