JavaScript JavaScript Basics (Retired) Making Decisions with Conditional Statements Super Conditional Challenge

I tried to do this challenge earlier in the year yet got stumped, can any one help me out with hints?

Trying to solve code challenge, super conditional challenge, hints, no spoilers though please

script.js
var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money > 10 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( today !== 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}

Do a little review of comparison logical operators in JavaScript: http://www.w3schools.com/js/js_comparisons.asp

What's happening is that the whole package within the parentheses of the if statement is evaluating to something other than the intent.

In this moment the script alert you: "Time to go to the theater", because one of the conditional statements is true (today === 'Friday'). If one of the conditional is true and the other one conditional is false, results is true.

For the script alert you: "It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out", first, you must to change conditional from 'or' in 'and' for the first 3 conditional. Two, you must change conditional in the last 'else if' conditional:

else if ( today === 'Friday' || money !== 9) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
}

The final code is:

var money = 9;
var today = 'Friday'

if ( money >= 100 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater");
} else if ( money >= 50 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner");
} else if ( money > 10 && today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie");
} else if ( today === 'Friday' || money !== 9 ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out");
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");
}

Good luck!
