I try many times but cant get the last line of code right.

i have try many times like below:

document.write(answer); document.write = answer;

scripts.js
var answer = "null";
prompt("What day is it?"); 
answer = prompt("What day is it?"); 
document.write 
index.html

<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

You actually don't need that many lines of code. You just store the prompt in the answer variable. You can remove the first two lines of your code. Then on line 3, you have to remember to add var in front of "answer" like this:

var answer = prompt("What day is it?"); 

Then you call the answer variable with

document.write(answer);

which you had already tried out
