I was wondering why do we center wrapper with auto margin on side but center the header logo by text-align:center?

is it cause wrapper is block element and logo is inline element?

That's it ! Block elements can be aligned at center with margin: auto. Whereas we can the content of a block (which are inline and inline-block) with text-align: center
