15,353 Pointsideas for an android app?
I want to make something but I can't seem to think of anything.
I made a checklist (sort of worked) but got bored pretty fast. I then made a battery app that just showed the user's battery but it was pretty lame. I feel like I have no creativity lol.

A pomodoro app - I love the pomodoro system and am always looking for streamlined apps that work exactly how I want them to. Right now, my favorite is Pomello (in general, not necessarily for Android).
I think it'd be interesting to try to clone Trello (basically a KanBan board).
Slightly more complex idea: Todo list app that integrates with the API at IDoneThis.com.
For fun: GAMES! For ideas here, I'd just work my way down the list at http://www.gamefromscratch.com/post/2013/08/01/Just-starting-out-what-games-should-I-make.aspx to start.

15,353 PointsHey Kristen, thanks! good luck on the java track! the android track will be lots of fun ^_^
I remember making a pomodoro app in the javafx part of the java track and how it was really tricky. I've started attempting to build it and it's tricky as it contains aspects we haven't really learned in the android track but ill manage it somehow.
We haven't learned game development as I believe the android track is solely focused on learning how to just build simple apps. however i hope i can learn to build games when im more comfortable with android.
