If I have a complex animation (made in After Effects and saved as a .mov file) Can I then convert it to a SVG file?

I have this beautiful animation I made a while ago using After effects. The animation is about 7 seconds long (it's a Logo animation). I'm trying to add that animation at the top of my wesbite. I don't think it would be possible to recreate that animation using Illustrator. Therefore, is it possible to convert a .mov file to a SVG file? If not, whats the best way to handle complex animations on the web? SVGs? .MOV files? GIFs? or using CSS animations? Thank you so much!

I don't know for sure, but I don't think so. You can do animated .gif. I don't know the details on how to convert, though. You can also leave it as a .mov and play it as a movie.
